Mercy Eatery & Mart is a small Ethiopian kitchen in Aurora. Our menu is the food we grew up with: slow-simmered wots, tibs sizzling with onion and pepper, kitfo seasoned with spiced butter, and soft injera to share.
Every dish is made fresh. Breakfast brings firfir, genfo and bula. Lunch and dinner run from Merek and Derek tibs to shiro and Yegodin tibs, and on weekends the traditional buffet comes out with doro wot, kikil and beg wet.
The & Mart part.
Next to the dining room is our mart, with packaged Ethiopian spices so you can cook the flavors at home. Come as you are and eat together.
